One toggle inside your user settings publishes your loan officer profile to the Mortgage Central LO Directory. Your listing shows up in the directory, on the state housing market reports where you're licensed, and gives borrowers a way to start a conversation with your AI assistant — which turns straight into a lead.
Mortgage Central is the public research section of the LoanOfficer.ai website. It publishes mortgage rates, housing market data, industry news, events, and lender research — the kind of pages consumers and real estate professionals search for every day. Inside Mortgage Central there is a spot built specifically for loan officers: the LO Directory. It is a public listing of the loan officers on the platform, and being in it costs nothing. The traffic already coming to those research pages is the traffic your listing gets in front of.
Opting in takes one switch. Open your settings, find your user information, and just underneath it you'll see the directory toggle. Turn it on and your public profile is live.
Open the LO Directory under Mortgage Central and you'll see a breakdown of everybody who is toggled on, with the states they're licensed in, the languages they speak, and their specialties. Each listing links to a full profile page.
The directory isn't the only place your listing appears. Every state housing market report — Colorado, for example — includes a summary of the loan officers licensed in that state. Only officers licensed in that specific state are shown, so a borrower researching their local market sees the officers who can actually help them.
This is what makes the listing more than a phone book entry. The consumer — the end user, the borrower — can start a conversation with your AI assistant right there in the platform. They ask their question, your assistant answers, and the conversation lands as a lead in your CRM ready for follow-up.
