Administrators can manage whether inbound and outbound calls on the company's LoanOfficer.ai numbers are recorded and, when audio recording is disabled, choose which calls may retain a transcript without keeping the audio.
A Central Audio Recording Control: The Call recording setting gives teams one visible place to turn audio recording on or off for calls on company LoanOfficer.ai numbers. Calls can still be logged in Call History when audio recording is disabled, preserving an activity record without retaining the audio itself.
Separate Transcript Retention Choices: When audio is not being recorded, administrators can choose whether transcripts are retained for all calls or for selected call groups already configured in the account. This separation helps a company apply its internal retention approach more deliberately instead of treating audio and text as the same record.
Governance Remains With the Mortgage Company: Technology settings do not determine whether recording or transcription is appropriate in every situation. Mortgage organizations should establish who may change the controls, which calls qualify, what notice or consent is required, how long records remain available, and who may access them.
