LoanOfficer.ai, the mortgage-first CRM, today announced Group Texting, a new Conversations feature that lets loan officers bring borrowers, co-borrowers, real estate agents, and other authorized transaction participants into one named SMS thread. The feature is live now, with English and Spanish training available in the LoanOfficer.ai Academy.

One Thread for the Deal Team: Mortgage updates often split into separate texts with the borrower, co-borrower, buyer's agent, listing agent, processor, and other participants. Group Texting creates one conversation where the appropriate participants can receive the same update and reply within a shared history.

Available From Conversations and Borrower Records: Users can open the Groups tab in Conversations to review existing threads or create a new one. The workflow is also accessible from a borrower record, allowing the loan officer to start the deal-team conversation while working in the underlying file.

Named Groups and Participant Management: Each thread can be given a recognizable name, such as a property address followed by Closing Team. Users then select Add People to include the contacts who belong in that conversation. Clear naming and participant review help teams distinguish active transactions and reduce accidental messages to the wrong contact.

AI-Assisted Drafting With Human Review: The group composer includes Get AI Suggestions to help draft the next response. The sender remains responsible for reviewing the recipients, facts, wording, consent status, and any required disclosures before sending.

Privacy and Communication Controls: Group Texting is intended for transaction coordination, not sensitive borrower data. LoanOfficer.ai advises users to keep Social Security numbers, account numbers, credentials, documents, and other private information in approved secure channels and to follow consent, opt-out, carrier, company, and privacy requirements for every participant.

Availability and Training: Group Texting is available now inside LoanOfficer.ai Conversations. The English lesson is at loanofficer.ai/academy/crm/group-texting-mortgage-deal-team, and the Spanish lesson is at loanofficer.ai/es/academia/crm/mensajes-grupales-equipo-hipotecario. The release video is also available on YouTube. New customers can start a 14-day trial for $1 at loanofficer.ai/trial.
