LoanOfficer.ai, the mortgage-first CRM powered by property and equity data, today published a complete English and Spanish training walkthrough for its AI Assistant. The new lesson brings the assistant's major configuration areas into one guided setup: identity and phone access, delayed replies, approved links, scheduling, follow-up, production coaching, training context, specialized product information, sandbox testing, guardrails, and the website chat widget.
Identity, Messaging Pace, and Approved Links: The walkthrough begins in User Settings under AI Assistant. A loan officer can give the assistant a distinct name and optional phone number, exchange text messages with it, and view assistant chats inside the platform. Delayed Reply can hold a response for up to three minutes when the account wants more natural conversational pacing. Important Links gives the assistant approved destinations—including the loan application—and can turn those destinations into smart tracking links that record clicks.
Scheduling and Website Booking: The scheduling section defines meeting types and lengths, available days and hours, minimum notice, and time off. The same area supplies code for an inline calendar, pop-up, or badge on a website. A visitor can select a meeting type, choose from the configured availability, and provide contact information without the assistant booking outside the originator's permitted window.
Follow-Up and Production Coaching: When a conversation goes quiet, the assistant can wait for selected intervals and write contextual follow-up messages. Accounts may use multiple steps and a re-enrollment buffer to control frequency. The optional AI Production Coach uses the originator's goals, experience, challenges, resources, and team context to support business planning; it can remain disabled without changing borrower conversations.
Training, Products, and Pre-Launch Testing: Loan officers can define behavior rules, next-step instructions, rate disclosures, personal and company biographies, and specialized products that require additional context. Sandbox Mode then allows representative product, qualification, and rate questions to be tested before the configuration is used in a live conversation. The training emphasizes checking the answer, qualifying question, disclosure, approved link, and escalation behavior together.
Guardrails and Website Chat: The walkthrough reviews built-in handling for RESPA and TILA compliance, content moderation, and consumer opt-out requests, along with configurable rate disclosures and escalation triggers. The final section shows how to customize the assistant's website widget—including its icon, logo, colors, and title—and copy the embed code into a website.
Availability and Training: The complete walkthrough is available in English at loanofficer.ai/academy/ai/complete-ai-assistant-setup-walkthrough and in Spanish at loanofficer.ai/es/academia/ia/configuracion-completa-del-asistente-de-ia. New customers can start a 14-day trial for $1 at loanofficer.ai/trial. Questions can be directed to support@loanofficer.ai.
