LoanOfficer.ai, the mortgage-first CRM, today published a new Power Dialer workflow training for loan officers and mortgage teams. The lesson follows the operating sequence from communication status and list preparation through session-specific messages, multi-line dialing, connected-call records, and follow-up on contacts who did not answer.
Channel-Aware Communication Controls: The training begins with a contact who replied STOP to a text. The contact's SMS channel is marked Do Not Disturb, preventing additional texts through that channel, while calling and email remain separate and subject to their own permissions and restrictions. The lesson advises teams to review channel status, consent, do-not-call rules, calling windows, and approved messaging before each outreach session.
Campaign Tags and Smart Calling Lists: The walkthrough shows how a campaign action can apply a Dialer tag to qualifying contacts. Loan officers can filter the borrower database by that tag and save the result as a smart list, creating a reusable calling queue. The example also segments jumbo and DSCR leads so the reason for the call and the session message remain specific to the audience.
Session-Specific Voicemail and SMS: Before dialing, the user can record a voicemail, configure a short message for simultaneous answers, and select an optional SMS companion from saved text templates. The training demonstrates preparing those messages for the selected lead segment instead of relying on one generic script for every session.
One, Two, or Three Dialing Lines: Power Dialer can place up to three calls simultaneously. The first live answer connects to the loan officer and opens the contact's CRM record. If another person answers at the same time, the configured abandon message plays so the second connection does not receive dead air. Teams should have compliance review multi-line dialing, recordings, and companion texts before use.
Resumable Sessions and Follow-Up: Each session retains the selected contacts and calling outcomes. Loan officers can return to an unfinished session, focus on contacts who did not connect, and maintain a repeatable workflow without reconstructing the list after every calling block.
Availability and Training: The new English-language lesson is available at loanofficer.ai/academy/calling/power-dialer-workflow-smart-lists. The existing Spanish Power Dialer lesson remains available at loanofficer.ai/es/academia/llamadas/recorrido-del-power-dialer. New customers can start a 14-day trial for $1 at loanofficer.ai/trial.
