LoanOfficer.ai now scores every lead and every referral partner with an AI engagement score built from real activity — meetings held, inbound calls, SMS replies, email opens and clicks, recency, and relationship length — with a transparent breakdown on every contact record so loan officers can see exactly why a contact is scored the way it is.

LoanOfficer.ai, the AI-powered CRM built exclusively for mortgage professionals, today announced the release of AI Lead Scoring and Engagement Insights — a scoring layer that reads the real activity history on every borrower and referral partner record and turns it into a single, explainable engagement score inside the CRM.
Prioritization Based on Behavior, Not Guesswork: Loan officers routinely manage databases of thousands of contacts with no objective way to decide who to call first. Lead Scoring replaces that guesswork with measured behavior. The score is calculated from signals already captured in the platform: meetings held, inbound calls, recent and lifetime SMS replies, email opens and clicks, how recently the contact last engaged, and how long the relationship has existed.
Every Score Is Explainable: Rather than presenting a number without justification, LoanOfficer.ai shows the full breakdown at the top of the contact record. Loan officers can see each contributing metric alongside a live status indicator — for example, 'Awaiting reply' when the borrower is the one who owes a response — so the score can be defended in a coaching conversation and acted on with confidence.
Referral Partners Are Scored the Same Way: The scoring engine also runs across the partner side of the database. Real estate agents, builders, and title partners receive the same engagement score, giving originators an objective weekly list of which referral relationships are active and which have gone quiet — a view most mortgage CRMs do not provide at all.
Built Into the Pipeline View: The score appears as a sortable column in any list view once a loan officer adds it in column settings, so a filtered pipeline can be ordered from most engaged to least engaged in a single click. Because the score updates automatically as calls, texts, emails, and meetings are logged, the list reorders itself over the course of the day without manual list building.
Works With the Rest of the Platform: Scored lists connect directly to the tools loan officers already use inside LoanOfficer.ai. A high-score segment can be sent straight into a Power Dialer calling session; a low-score segment can be routed into an evergreen nurture campaign; and Property Pulse continues monitoring equity, rate, and PMI changes across 150M+ property records to create a concrete reason to re-engage a cold contact.
Compliance Note: The engagement score measures communication activity only. It is not a credit, income, or eligibility measure and is not intended for use in credit decisioning.
Availability: AI Lead Scoring and Engagement Insights is available now to all LoanOfficer.ai customers at no additional cost. A video walkthrough is published in the LoanOfficer.ai Academy in English and Spanish. New users can try the platform for $1 for 14 days.
